Russian sociology is lag behind from the trend of ecologization of sociological knowledge in the world. In this relation the author calls it a ‘limping sociology’. We are urgently needed in sociological thinking and public space for interdisciplinary dialogue. The article analyzes the reasons of this lag, and offers a set of indispensable measures to overcome it.
